About this policy
This policy applies to ZTL Alert Italy 1.0, a reference-map app for visitors driving in Italy. Effective date: 24 October 2026.
Location and driving mode
Location is used only after you start driving mode and while the app is in the foreground. Proximity calculations happen on your device. We have no server that receives your location and do not store a location history. Alerts stop when you leave or lock the app. If driving mode was active, it resumes when you return.
Apple Maps and address searches
Apple MapKit supplies the basemap and hotel/address search. Your search text is sent to Apple to resolve the location. Apple may process map and location requests under its own privacy policy. This app keeps the query and selected result only temporarily in memory and clears them when you leave the address screen.
Accounts, tracking and storage
No registration, advertising, analytics or third-party SDKs are included. The app does not track you across apps or websites. Your disclaimer acknowledgement and reminder preference are stored on your device. There are no purchases in version 1.0.
Support messages and this website
If you email support, we use your message and reply address to answer. Please do not send number plates, location history or sensitive personal information. These static pages contain no analytics scripts, forms or cookies set by us. Cloudflare, the hosting provider, processes the network information required to deliver and secure the pages.
